Faithful Traditions

Taylor and Peyton’s faith in God was something the couple wanted to center around on their special day. In addition to figuring out all the typical wedding logistics, the two focused on their faith, making it the center of all their plans.

“Our faith in the Lord was important, and we wanted to ensure that we stayed focused on the most important thing: that we were creating a marriage covenant before God on our wedding day,” writes the bride. From photography to food to venue to flowers, each vendor the pair selected kept their faith at the top of mind.

The Wedding Day

May 26, 2024 was a magical day for Taylor and Peyton. The bride dressed the part for a fairytale-like wedding, wearing a gorgeous gown from Whittington Bridal. Fit with puffy sleeves and sparkles, she looked nothing short of a princess!

Adding to the beauty of the scene were stunning, pastel florals by Unforgettable Floral. Arches, bouquets, table settings, wraps around columns and balcony railings — you name it! Each space looked breathtaking drenched in classic, colorful florals. Decor and rentals from Premiere Events also beautified the space, making for a lovely display.

Along with beautiful surroundings, guests also enjoyed delicious bites and a meal, courtesy of Cafe Natalie Catering. From delectable crab cakes to mini chicken and waffle skewers, it’s safe to say no one left hungry!

The whole day was captured by the talented artists at Mustard Seed Photography and Reverent Wedding Films. And thanks to the couple’s planner from Two Be Wed, the day went off without a hitch! “Danyett Baxter with Two Be Wed kept us organized and calm,” writes Taylor. “Over the 14 months we worked together, she became a family friend! She was also a voice of reason and support when it was needed.”
