From the hydrangea-inspired invitation suite to the candlelit reception overflowing with blooms, every detail tied beautifully into their classic wedding vision.
The Wedding Day
Courtney and Nicolas began their wedding weekend with a rehearsal dinner at Briscoe Manor before stepping into a wedding day that perfectly blended sophistication with heartfelt emotion. Even with a little rain, the day couldn’t have felt more romantic, especially during the portraits of Courtney and Nicolas walking beneath a black umbrella, soaking in the first moments as husband and wife.
Courtney wore a timeless off-the-shoulder gown from Whittington Bridal, pairing the elegant silhouette with soft, classic beauty styling by Etoilly Artistry. Her bridesmaids complemented the refined aesthetic in powder blue gowns, carrying lush white bouquets accented with delicate hints of blue florals that tied seamlessly into the overall design of the day.
The couple exchanged vows inside Briscoe Manor’s chapel, where overflowing blue-and-white floral arrangements lined the aisle and framed the altar in soft, romantic blooms.
Following the ceremony, guests entered a reception space transformed with dramatic ceiling draping, sparkling crystal chandeliers, and layered floral installations overflowing with blue hydrangeas and white roses. Tablescapes featured soft blue patterned linens from BBJ La Tavola, elegant rentals from Bright Event Rentals, crystal glassware, custom menus, and candlelight that created a warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout the space.
One of the most memorable parts of the day was how many personalized details were incorporated throughout the day. The hydrangea-inspired invitation suite featured soft blue script, floral illustrations, and custom monograms that introduced the wedding aesthetic long before guests arrived. The custom seating chart display, elegant lounge spaces, and curated cocktail bar setup carried the same blue-and-white palette throughout every part of the venue.
Guests enjoyed an unforgettable evening filled with dining and dancing as entertainment by Elevated AV Production kept the dance floor full throughout the reception. The floral-covered cake by Cakes by Gina felt like a natural extension of the reception design, tying seamlessly into the soft blue-and-white palette.
Favorite Moments
“My favorite wedding day memory was walking down the aisle,” Courtney shares. “Seeing my husband standing there waiting for me made everything else fade away for a second, it was the most emotional, special moment.”
Throughout the planning process, Courtney also learned the importance of slowing down and truly enjoying the engagement season instead of rushing through it. “One thing I learned from planning our wedding is how important it is to stay present and actually enjoy the season. Engagement goes by so fast, and I’m really glad I took time to soak in all the little moments instead of rushing through them.”
