We are beyond thrilled to share the wedding of Angela Choi & Brandon Mok, the cover couple of our Wed Society® | Houston 2026 Book of Weddings and our September Vows that Wow feature! On June 19, 2026, the couple tied the knot at the stunning Boxwood Manor in Tomball, Texas. Their wedding was a romantic blend of timeless elegance, soft blue hues, and lush garden-inspired florals.
Angela and Brandon incorporated their faith and Korean heritage into their ceremony before spending the evening with their closest family and friends. With the help of an incredible team of Houston wedding vendors, their vision came to life, all beautifully captured by Tatum Dickson Photography.
The Wedding Day
Boxwood Manor’s soaring ceilings and expansive windows created a beautiful backdrop for Angela and Brandon’s wedding. The couple chose a soft blue and white color palette, with garden-inspired florals and classic details throughout the ceremony and reception.
Bramble & Bee filled the venue with lush arrangements of white roses, orchids, and delicate blue blooms. A stunning floral installation framed the couple during their ceremony, while overflowing centerpieces brought the garden-inspired design into the reception.
Angela wore a strapless gown with delicate floral detailing and a romantic, flowing silhouette. Stylist & Co. completed her bridal look with soft waves and natural, glowing makeup. Her bridesmaids wore powder blue dresses, while Brandon and his groomsmen opted for classic black suits.
One of the most personal parts of the wedding was the couple’s ceremony. Angela and Brandon incorporated their Korean heritage by bowing to their parents before embracing them, honoring the role their families have played in their lives.
Angela shared, “It ended up being one of the most emotional moments of the day. Seeing both of our moms tear up during this moment immediately made Brandon and me tear up as well.”
Their faith was also an important part of the ceremony. The couple included a worship song and unity candle ceremony to symbolize their commitment to one another and their desire to keep God at the center of their marriage.
For the reception, BBJ La Tavola, Elevated AV Production and Premiere Events helped bring the couple’s vision to life with soft blue linens, woven chargers, gold accents, and warm candlelight. Lush floral arrangements by Bramble & Bee filled the tables, while natural wood chairs and glowing tabletop lamps gave the room an inviting feel. A custom DJ facade rental added another thoughtful touch to the reception design.
Craft the Moment Party Co created personalized signage, including a blue seating chart that complemented the wedding’s color palette. A custom floral-inspired dance floor became the centerpiece of the reception, where guests spent the evening celebrating with the newlyweds. Boxwood Manor also provided bartending services for the wedding.
Although Angela and Brandon spent months planning the details of their wedding, Angela shared that the reception ended up being one of her favorite memories.
“Once the dancing started, it was truly a party! Looking around the room and seeing our family and friends singing and dancing together and just having a blast was truly so special.”
Tatum Dickson Photography documented the wedding day, capturing the couple’s portraits, ceremony, and all the fun of the reception. Angela and Brandon had previously worked with Tatum for their engagement session and Angela’s bridal portraits, making her a familiar presence throughout their wedding journey.
Angela shared, “Brandon and I aren’t naturally comfortable in front of the camera, but Tatum immediately put us at ease. She took the time to get to know us, understand the style of photos we loved, and made every session feel fun and effortless.”
More Than Just the Details
Wedding planning taught Angela and Brandon an important lesson about working together and focusing on what mattered most to them as a couple.
“One of the biggest things we learned during wedding planning was that intentionality matters more than perfection.”
Rather than getting caught up in trends or trying to make every detail perfect, they focused on making decisions together and creating a wedding that reflected their relationship.
Their planner, Lauren Davis, helped make that possible. Angela shared that Lauren’s organization, responsiveness, and attention to detail gave them the confidence to enjoy the planning process. On the wedding day, Lauren handled everything behind the scenes so the couple could spend their time with family and friends.
As Angela reflected, “Looking back, the most special parts of our wedding weren’t the perfectly chosen details, but the moments that celebrated our relationship, our families, and the people we love.”
