Maddie and John Michel chose The Farmhouse to host their beautiful wedding day and picked hues of blush and pink, along with greenery galore, to accentuate the stark white modern farmhouse backdrop of their venue. With delicious catering from Café Natalie and cake from Cakes by Gina, Maddie and John Michel’s guests were treated to the best before dancing the night away thanks to LG Entertainment! From the bride: “My husband and I met through one of my college roommates. After hanging out a few times in group settings, we had our first date at an Astros vs. Rangers game. He asked me if I would be his girlfriend and I told him I would, only if the Astros win (he’s a Rangers fan). The Astros ended up winning, but I would have said yes either way!
Your wedding day brings a whole new level of excitement. I completely trusted my planners, so that morning and afternoon leading up to the ceremony was stress free and joyous. When my parents arrived, I gave them both a small gift and was able to take in the moment before all the hustle and bustle. As my dad and I were heading to the chapel for the ceremony, I got the opportunity to see the reception hall all decorated. I was overwhelmed with how beautiful the room was and the exceptional job all my vendors provided. It was exactly how I wanted my wedding reception to look like. As I walked down the aisle, all I could see was John Michel and I was overfilled with joy knowing that this was the start of our next chapter as husband and wife. Our officiant was my high school YoungLife leader, making the ceremony a bit more special and personal knowing he helped shape and grow my faith. The reception was filled with love and celebration as we got to see family and friends from all over the state and country. The food was wonderful and our DJ was great! To top the night off, our guests wished us well with a beautiful sparkler exit. It was such a wonderful day.”
