Rustic meets elegant in this dusty blue wedding inspiration from Smith House Photography, captured at the incredible venue The Vine in New Ulm, Texas! Against the reclaimed wood of The Vine‘s chapel and reception hall, the dusty blue color palette appearing in various details of the day, along with pops of white and greenery galore, elevated this rustic affair into something truly timeless and classic. Weaving the textured dusty blue linens throughout the vignettes of the shoot helped to create a solid theme, while organic white blooms, candles in abundance and old-world charm in the wax-sealed invitation suite and tableware created more visually interesting details we just can’t get enough of! Delicate gold appears ever so subtly in the chargers and on the beautiful cake from Cakes by Gina to bring a touch of glam to this Texas vineyard. What a beautiful setting for a dreamy wedding! From the photographer: “After years of wedding photography, we’ve learned that texture is a detail. The perfect textures bring together a beautifully simple design and can breathe life into any space! So when a new wedding venue and soon-to-be vineyard, The Vine, opened in New Ulm, Texas, complete with reclaimed wood and a hand-crafted stone fireplace, we knew we’d be in love. Houston wedding planner, Samantha of Plan Our Day Houston, along with florist and stylist Maria of Maxit Flower Design, pulled together each elegant detail. We situated the tablescape in front of The Vine’s first batch of wine barrels, and Samantha carried the minimalist greenery garland from the center of the table onto the wine barrels. We loved the juxtaposition of the gold chargers with the patterned china plates, for some romantic, elegant charm. Dusty blue napkins carried the color palette of the day. Camel & Birdie and Lynsey Creative collaborated on the modern design. Our model bride and groom are a real couple getting married later this year, and they just exude love in every glance they share! It doesn’t hurt that Sarah has practice in front of the camera as former Ms. Texas, and her hubby-to-be just might be one of the most dapper professional baseball players we have ever met. We just adored having them in front of the camera for this styled shoot!”
