Before their breathtaking enchanted garden wedding came about, Morgan and Daniel first met in 2012 during their freshman orientation at Vanderbilt University. Just babies at the time of their meeting, Morgan assumed she would never see him again! They were both surprised to run into each other the very next evening at an art museum in Nashville where they exchanged jokes, phone numbers, and quickly became close friends. The pair started officially dating a few months later and the rest, as they say, was history! Now their love for one another is oh-so-obvious in this enchanted garden wedding captured by Boulevard Photography! Bride and groom Morgan and Daniel blended her Southern upbringing with his Asian heritage to the tune of a modern beach sunset palette that kept things warm and romantic.

Morgan started the day getting pampered by Butter Artistry alongside her favorite people. Then, it was time for her to walk down the aisle – clad in the perfect lacey high-neck gown from Brickhouse Bridal! In a ceremony led by Officially Oaks, there was hardly a dry eye around and these two were finally pronounced husband and wife! Fresh citrus was incorporated into their floral arrangements which symbolizes good luck in Chinese culture, and they had Asian-inspired hors d’oeuvres served by Hedrick’s Catering and Events during cocktail hour. Every detail was impeccably curated and the newlyweds learned so much throughout the process of planning their enchanted garden wedding. Keep scrolling to see the gorgeous gallery below, and read on for a note from the bride about what they went through when postponing for COVID-19. Cheers to the new Mr. and Mrs. Yiu!

From the bride: “The most important thing is the strength of your relationship and your marriage, not the small details of your wedding! We had to postpone our wedding for an entire year due to the pandemic, and we had to make that decision about two months before our original wedding date. It was tough—we definitely mourned our original wedding day and the event we had planned, knowing that we would have to downsize and many of our guests could no longer attend because of scheduling and safety. But ultimately we spent that year growing together, and while our wedding day was beautiful and perfect, we knew that the wedding itself was less important than our respect for and trust in each other.”
