Beach Seashell Engagement

Ryan and I were junior high sweethearts! Yes, we have been together since 8th grade! Our love together has stuck and grown so much throughout the years. We went to separate colleges and had a blast visiting each other at LSU and U of H! I moved back to Houston after college and a few years later we bought a house together in our hometown. After a few short months, Ryan proposed to me at the beach which is near and dear to our hearts. Growing up we both have so many sweet memories with our family and friends at the beach. One day (proposal day) Ryan asked to take me to dinner in Galveston. I did not think anything of it since we often do date nights. We were driving around the seawall before dinner and he asked me if I wanted to stop and look at the seashell shop. We got out and looked around then he told me lets walk out to the water. Walking down the steps of the seawall I then saw this beautiful set up of flowers, champagne, pampas grass and rose petals and we were headed straight for it! I looked at him and said “RYAN?!?” and all he did was giggle. We were both full of emotions and I said yes to the love of my life and best friend! After we took a few pictures a huge rainstorm came within minutes. We got some funny pictures of us in the storm before beach security told us to seek shelter lol! I guess they say rain is good luck! Here is to our love story!
