“Our wedding was centered around the Christmas holiday! Michael and I both grew up in families that loved the holiday. My Nana loved Christmas, she had over 10 trees fully decorated in her house every year. The memories she created fueled my Christmas obsession. Michael’s late father was the Christmas man in their house. After he passed away Michael will tell you Christmas never felt the same until we began dating and I helped him bring the joy back to the holiday season. Christmas really has been the recurring theme of our relationship! We met at a Christmas pop-up bar, were engaged 3 years later at Christmas time, and we both knew a Christmas wedding would be perfect. It was a very Merry Smith-mas!”
