Style Your Ultimate Bachelorette Bash!

We’re bringing the mountains to you in this springy, adventure-filled bachelorette party hosted at Hughes Manor. Inspired by a destination bachelorette party in Lake Tahoe, Samantha Gieseke with Plan Our Day wanted to focus on all of the fun, individualized details that can be incorporated into the celebration! It was an intimate gathering with cozy treats and an even cozier cake from Shelby Elizabeth Cakes – check out that knit detail! The invitation suite from Jo’s Paper Kitchen perfectly coincided with the mountainous theme with wood-grain paper, sage green accents and a fun-filled itinerary. Full, lush bouquets from Tin Cup Farm set the table with a fresh, au natural vibe. The attendants’s makeup and hairstyles were perfected by Sunkissed & Made Up – natural waves, tousled up-dos and youthful, natural makeup. Dreaming of your own bachelorette party in the mountains? Style the Ultimate Bachelorette Bash!

“The inspiration for this shoot came from recently helping to plan a destination bachelorette party for a close friend in Lake Tahoe. We wanted to highlight a fresh idea for a destination bachelorette party focusing on fun details like themed drinks, perfect for cool or warm weather, thank you gifts for your bridal party, as well as a unique twist to the typical luncheon: a picnic! With an overall relaxed and laid back vibe, we brought in gorgeous organic style blooms, plush blankets and pillows and shareable treats to inspire a bachelorette gathering that focuses on what’s important: bonding with those you love and who are supporting you during this exciting time!” – Samantha Gieseke with Plan Our Day

“For this, I wanted it to be fun and modern. So, using the wood grain paper tied in the mountain destination for this bachelorette weekend. Small gatherings are fun to work on because you can be creative and take some risks with trends. You want your wedding invitation to be more timeless, but having a fun trend for your besties is a great idea.” – Jo’s Paper Kitchen

“For all three of our ladies’ looks we wanted to showcase our soft but still impactful makeup techniques. When working on a group of girls, we always check with the bride to see what her vision is. All of your bridesmaids may have different styles and ideas and it’s our job to make sure everyone leaves our chair feeling like the best version of themselves but still has a cohesive look that fits the bride’s overall look. Having inspiration photos for your artists is key and then trust that you’re in good hands!” – Sunkissed & Made Up
