Ashlee and Omar were introduced through Ashlee’s sister and some mutual friends when they were just 18. They have since started a beautiful life together which they made official in this modern farmhouse wedding in cool tones of dusty blue and lush greenery. The bridal party started the magical day out with a relaxing morning of drinking mimosas and being treated by Etoilly Artistry with professional hair and makeup services, and bride Ashlee recalls how adorable it was to see their daughter getting pampered as well. She walked down the aisle to her dad first leaving few dry eyes in the room, just before the doors opened and Ashlee was walked down the aisle by her father to the sound of sweet saxophone, saying it felt just like a dream. A cross at the altar was adorned with florals and greenery from Monica’s Brides & Touch of Glitz Flowers at the end of each row of seating. Their officiant gave lovely ceremony speeches centered around each of them individually, their daughter, and their relationship as a couple which was exactly what the newlyweds had hoped for.
“Everything was done with love and family in mind. It was absolutely perfect to me.”
Ashlee says she and Omar both feel as though all of their family was truly becoming one with the marriage. Once they shared the same last name it was time to enter their elegant farmhouse wedding reception decorated with pieces from On Cloud 9 Events, where their DJ surprised them with a sparking, fire entrance that set the tone for the rest of the evening! There was nothing but positive energy and excitement in the air and the pair’s first dance left Ashlee and Omar feeling like they were the only two in the room. Family and friends who loved them most lined up for a romantic sparkler exit as the cherry on top of a picture-perfect day and they walked out to a getaway car to head to their honeymoon!
