A Look Inside our Brides of Houston Anniversary Brunch!

Last month we celebrated our very own Brides of Houston’s 5th anniversary and the release of our Fall/Winter 2022 magazine! A very exciting and eventful month calls for an even bigger celebration — and we are here for it!

As guests entered the stunning Iron Manor, they were immediately greeted by the most eye-catching maps and directional signage from Jo’s Paper Kitchen – the bright colors and hues set the tone for the brunch and definitely made for a perfect entrance. One of our favorite floral and balloon vendors, All the Pretty Things HTX, installed a couple of gorgeous balloon arches on the ceiling… yes the ceiling! It transformed the ambiance of the room and our guests were in awe! Besides the wonderful balloon arches, All the Pretty Things HTX created a stunning floral installation beside our mag cover, complete with hot pink milk crates! This was truly the show-stopper of the brunch.

We could not have asked for a better venue or bartending service than Iron Manor to celebrate our 5th anniversary! The staff was a joy to work with and the drinks were just as pretty as the venue itself. Guests couldn’t help themselves as ESSEN Catering’s team served the best brunch and the aroma was simply to die for (the shrimp and grits were our favorite!) After digging into brunch, it was time for dessert! The Flour Petal Bakery created a celebratory cake that was way too pretty to eat, and tasted even better than it looked! 

If anyone knows how to set the mood for a Brides of Houston party, it’s Elevated AV Production! Formerly known as Double Oak Events, this team has all the skills to create the best mood in any room. They had the perfect tunes to match the vibes of this fun party during the brunch! Etoilly Artistry made every guest feel pampered with their lash and lip bar – who wouldn’t want to check this out?! Aztec Events and Tents adorned the Iron Manor with the cutest seating arrangements! Besides the seating arrangements, they also provided linens, glassware, and rentals.

Every brunch needs a mid-party caffeine stop, and ours was from the wonderful Brightside Coffee Bar. After getting their caffeine fix, guests loved the 360 photo booth from Pixster Photo Booths! 360 photo booths truly transform a party and provide a memorable experience. Meanwhile, Twirl Cotton Candy designed a beautiful bespoke cotton candy bar that we just adored. Who doesn’t love cotton candy, especially these fresh and flavor-filled twirls!

One amazing detail of this brunch was that our Fall/Winter 2022 cover photographer also captured our cover release event! The talented Erika Geier Photography is the best and perfectly captured our day. As guests slowly started to make their exit, they were given the sweetest party favors from Alchemy Bake Lab. These favors make us want to have dessert for breakfast every day!
