Dusty blue and rose details give Brittany and Cody’s wedding the perfect rustic southern charm look. Brittany and Cody met their sophomore year at Texas A&M while two-stepping. Throughout the night, Brittany danced with different people. However, when Cody asked her to dance, the two felt an immediate connection they both couldn’t deny. After a couple of years of dating, Cody proposed in a way any true Aggie would, under the Century Tree where Cody’s dad proposed to his mom. Cody used Brittany’s senior photos on campus as the opportunity to get down on one knee. Throughout the photoshoot, Brittany was met by a friend with a letter from Cody. Finally, when she arrived at the Century Tree, Cody stood there waiting to propose to the love of his life. Cody got the best answer he could ever hear, “Yes, of course!”

Brittany and Cody’s rustic southern charm wedding is full of dusty blue and rose details that will melt your heart. On the morning of their big day, Brittany and her best gals got ready in the bridal suite while the groom and his boys had a skeet shooting competition. Brittany and Cody wanted to follow the tradition of not seeing one another before the ceremony. Therefore, the two felt all the emotions when they finally saw each other across the aisle. Brittany looked stunning in a classic bridal gown with lace detailing from Brickhouse Bridal. Her groom looked oh so handsome in a light grey suit and dusty blue bowtie from Generation Tux.

After the ceremony, guests enjoyed a cocktail hour with a fun personalized detail, Chuy’s creamy jalapeño dip, a Powell family favorite. However, our absolute favorite detail of Brittany and Cody’s wedding is their flash mob entrance with their immediate family. How fun is this! After cutting the bridal cake and groom’s cake from Cake Conspiracy, the couple made their grand sparkler exit. Brandon & Lindsay Lutz Photography captured all the dusty blue and rose magic in Brittany and Cody’s big day. In addition, Still Productions Films captured the special day on film. Brittany and Cody’s Favorite Wedding Memory:

“When Cody and I entered the reception, we had a flash mob with our immediate family members! This was by far the best moment of the wedding – we had been planning and practicing our performance for months and keeping the secret was so hard. But, we surprised everyone and started the reception off with a bang! It was so much fun for us and to see everyone’s surprised faces!”
