Captured by The Cotton Collective at The Farmhouse just outside of Houston, the team incorporated brightly colored florals by Bramble & Bee and fun pieces from Rent Some Vintage to set the tone. The model bride wore an ethereal gown from Lovely Bride and a floral hairpiece in her beautiful braid by Blush Worthy. The hand-painted cake by Buttercup Bakery matched the hand-lettered invitations from A Fine Flourish, with floral and gold details making a statement to complete the tablescape. A hand-painted backdrop tied the entire look together. From the colorful floral details to the whimsical balloons, we just keep coming back for more! From the planner: “Myself and The Cotton Collective wanted to take the concept of an editorial and elevate it by giving back and serving a couple who has always been self-sacrificing. We knew couples who have this type of heart would never request to be in the limelight for their service, so we held nominations.
While everyone who was nominated undoubtedly deserved the opportunity, there was a clear winner – Hailey and Matt Moss. Hailey and Matt were married this past June. Shortly after their big day, their photographer delivered devastating news that his hard drive had crashed and they did not have a single photo from their wedding day. Naturally, they were heartbroken but not nearly as much as the photographer. He took it pretty hard and decided to shut down his business. As soon as Hailey and Matt caught wind of this, they reached out immediately and explained to him that they understood mistakes happen. They reminded him of how talented he was and encourage him to keep sharing his craft with others.”
