To bring a floral wedding crest concept to life-size proportions, the teams behind Sparkle & Shine Events and Nib & Pixel combined elements bright, light and sweet to create an outdoor dreamscape chock-full of cheery citrus styled shoot! Josh & Dana Fernandez Photography captured the magic at the giant custom crest altar on the grounds of Hughes Manor, surrounded by strung twinkle lights and overhanging trees. As one of the key ingredients to the setting story, a combination of delicate and punchy blooms in shades of cream, orange and pale pink from Bramble & Bee were used to adorn everything from the invites and pseudo-altar to the his and hers chairs and towering cake! Speaking of sweet treats, the three-tier dessert was a star in its own right; Maple and Love’s artistic take on the theme incorporated tangy citrus elements of freshly sliced lemons amidst sprigs of tiny white buds, leaves and orange florals to make this cake the perfect side display for the model bride and groom. To coincide her look with the light and natural feel of the shoot, the bride’s two-piece off shoulder gown from Unbridaled was complemented by a soft, side-swept fishtail braid and a minimal makeup look created by Hey Lovely Makeup. We’ll be obsessing over this citrus styled shoot for months to come! Enjoy!
