Hillary and Hal met through a mutual friend in high school. Growing up as friends strengthened their bond, and set the foundation for a solid relationship and marriage. Life took them separate ways in college, but once reunited, the pair was inseparable. There was no doubt they had found “the one” in the other.
To perfect the proposal, Hal wrote out exactly what he wanted to say to Hillary and practiced reciting the words in the weeks leading up to popping the question. When he pulled out the ring – he forgot everything! Choked up and unable to speak, he finally managed to say a rough version of what he had planned. Needless to say, Hillary got the gist of Hal’s sentiments and said, “Yes!”
