Wait Until You See the Floral Magic in These Scenes from Events by Sarah

Brides, you’re in for a treat. Today we’re featuring the work of Sarah Bett of Events by Sarah and her team. This talented Houston wedding planner provides event management and design to brides in Houston and beyond, embracing a classic style with a twist. “I would describe my style and design as traditional with a flair,” Sarah says – and as you’ll see below, her signature style translates to absolutely gorgeous weddings!
One fear many brides may have when hiring a wedding planner is assuming their wedding will end up looking like other weddings that planner has previously worked on. “I think we are a company that wants each event to be a reflection of each couple. We are not trying to replicate a wedding we have seen, or use the same vendors for every event,” Sarah explains. “We truly tailor each wedding to be unique. We are able to find the right combination of vendors to execute each client’s needs to its fullest potential. In working with so many great vendors across our city, we have been able to create a network that spans many styles and budgets. Each wedding is like a puzzle, but the pieces are always different. What one client spends more money on or is more important to them, creates different sized pieces. In the end, you get the same flawless, fabulous wedding; but getting there is always different.”

A Favorite Styled Shoot

“My favorite part of this shoot was seeing all the elements come together. Brides are sometimes afraid of color, and we totally took this to the other extreme with all the color. To see how all the brightness came together yet still felt elegant, modern and sexy was really cool. The table itself has to be my absolute favorite table. I will likely mimic this when it is my turn to get married! The striped chairs, fresh fruit and accents of gold, really spoke to my personal style!”
Thinking about incorporating some color into your own affair? Events by Sarah says: go for it. “Color is trending not only in decor, but other things as well! Wedding dresses, cakes, furniture, linens. Don’t get me wrong, I love a classic white, blush and green wedding, but when a client comes in and says give me all the color, my heart explodes. I think sometimes, clients feel that color can be not romantic or as classic, but I beg to differ. I think if you do it tastefully and in the right ways it can be even more romantic and luxurious.”
Real Wedding Love

So many incredible details to swoon over in this real wedding from Events by Sarah! “This is one of my favorite weddings to date because of how cohesive the look was for the entire weekend. Their monogram and sleek modern, elegant look was truly a reflection of the couple! They wanted this wedding to feel like a dinner party they were having at their home! Being a destination for both sides of the family, we planned a fun-filled weekend packed with lots of activities. I was able to help with all aspects of that weekend and truly helped design the spaces from the very beginning. Budget was not a hindering factor, so it allowed us to do some new, innovative features like The Grand Bevy! One specific detail that is my favorite is the front entry tables. It was so chic, modern and romantic that I couldn’t stop staring at it all night!”
As you can tell, Events by Sarah is not about cookie cutter weddings, because there is no such thing as a cookie cutter bride! Every couple is different, so every event is different. Want to chat with Sarah and her team yourself? Reach out via her Brides of Houston vendor profile!
