Love in Bloom Floral-Filled Wedding by Two Be Wed

Set in the chic, industrial-like space of Chandelier Grove, Debra and Elton’s cheery floral-filled wedding was nothing short of a spectacular celebration of romance, culture and true love in bloom! Josh and Dana Fernandez Photography captured the magic behind the lens, using the bright afternoon light both indoors and out to snag the most dreamy images of the happy couple. The team at To Be Wed set the scene with splashes of bright, poppy colors of  magenta, pink and peach in decor elements from the incredible floral arrangements by Flower Vibes to the watercolor petal paper suite. Stunning in a soft, natural beauty look by Hey Lovely Makeup and a long-sleeve illusion and embellished Hayley Paige gown from Serendipity Bridal, the bride made sure to tie in a favorite element of the couple’s previous chapter to their special day: towering displays of macarons by Buttercup Bakery to commemorate their Parisian engagement! We love every last sweet detail of this couple’s wedding story!

From the bride: “We first met in the spring of 2012 through a mutual friend when coming back from the Houston Rodeo. We realized we both went to the University of Texas at Austin but had never met each other there. It almost seemed like we were destined to meet eventually, no matter where we were!

It was our third day in Paris and we woke up early with the intention to walk up the stairs of the Eiffel Tower. On the way there, while walking across the Bir-Hakeim bridge, we stopped to take pictures. When I turned around, Elton was on one knee proposing to me. He hired a photographer to capture the moment we cherish so much and also brought a dress and high heels so we could do engagement pictures the next day.

To incorporate our floral (love in bloom) theme, we made individually pressed flower coasters with our guests’ names and table numbers as escort cards, which doubled as favors. They were displayed against a shelved, white wall dressed in floral garlands. It was my favorite feature of the wedding; it was just like how I imagined and more! So beautiful.”
