Old-world Europe meets the Texas landscape in this French countryside wedding inspiration from Houston wedding planner Chancey Charm Weddings. Soft and romantic tones, including sweet blushes paired with deeper pinks and reds, transformed the scene at Houston Oaks into a storybook setting with a stately table, bold and full blooms and small, intricate details to bring as much Old World flair as possible. The model bride donned loose waves and neutral makeup by Blushworthy in keeping with the chic, classic look of the day. Oh-so-lovely and feminine details, from the specialty cocktails and the cake to the table setting and everything in between, made this French countryside scene feel so sweet and sentimental. A classic Rolls Royce as the getaway car is just the icing on the cake!

From the planner: “As Davy and Skylar first started brainstorming for this editorial, an inspiration couple took shape. Their couple would want to bring Old World glamour to the natural Texas countryside. Their design goal was to meld a love for European travel with an appreciation of the South. They knew instantly there was no other choice than The Clubs at Houston Oaks! They have a 15th-century chapel that was brought over from France. The palette started with a soft primary group of blush, cool grey and gentle green, brought to life through vibrant burgundies, antique golds, forest greens and rich, peachy tones. They set up the tablescape beneath the soft overhang of the oaks dripping in Spanish moss. The simple semi-naked cake with edible gold details absolutely shimmered in the soft evening light. She + Him Bartending whipped up a plethora of custom cocktails all inspired by the Europe-meets-Texas vibe. A favorite detail was the 1960s Rolls Royce, the perfect getaway car for the happy couple.”
