We’ve seen chinoiserie – a classic blue and white pattern – make its way into several celebrations this year, and this garden chinoiserie styled shoot works just beautifully with it as the theme! Dreamed up by Sava Sipe of Houston wedding planners Two Be Wed, this quaint scene gives a fresh, modern twist to the timeless blue pattern, pairing it with bright ivory blooms and lively greens from Lanson B. Jones Floral. Keeping with the color scheme, the model groom wore a dapper blue suit, while the bride donned a gown with a classic silhouette, paired with fresh, natural hair and makeup by Hey Lovely. A weathered farmhouse table and wooden chairs were juxtaposed against the china pattern to help the whole scene feel approachable and fresh. We’re especially obsessed with the stationery and how it carries the pattern so eloquently from the invitation suite to the place cards – the laser-cut detailing is such a thoughtful detail! With plenty of dark and light blue touches, like the tufted ceremony seating and linens bringing texture to the scene, this garden chinoiserie shoot has everything we could want and more. Cheers!
