What better way to celebrate the florist behind Urban Rubbish Floral Designs’ own wedding than with a glam boho bridal shower planned to a T by her friend and event planner and EPOCH CO+ Events? With a vision built upon a casual seating area where all guests could chat comfortably and stylishly, Paige of EPOCH CO+ incorporated multiple colors and textures into one cohesive design, which she appropriately termed “glam boho” – we think that description fits perfectly! From the mismatched vintage chairs and rugs to the glittery table runners and bold protea arrangements, this styled bridal shower is truly one-of-a-kind! Be sure to read below to hear more about Paige’s inspiration and thoughts behind the styling of the shower. Cheers to this special bride!

From the planner: “This party was a joy to create for so many special reasons. Not only is the bride a dear friend, but she was also the brilliant florist behind the designs you see pictured. We had a blast pairing the lush arrangements with some glitz and sparkle interspersed. The unique design of the arrangements with Protea and blooming tulips did a great job of relaying the unique feel of the event. Our desire to create a large lounge area for the guests guided our color selection of soft pink with pops of maroon throughout. And we can’t forget about the loose feeling of the greenery that pulled together each design. The sparkly table cloth at the entrance and the matching runners along two farm table from Vestige Event Rentals pulled all the aspects of the room together. Guests were met upon entering with a polaroid camera and a Sharpie to be used as a guest book alternative (totally unique and cute idea provided by sister of the bride)! We also provided a place for guests to start Mary off on her wedding adventure with their favorite tried-and-true recipes she and her hubby-to-be could enjoy cooking together. Gifts were opened and conversation was enjoyed with light snacks, tea, lemonade, and of course, some classic Sunday afternoon mimosas. Guests then enjoyed a few bridal shower-themed games such as “Guess The Age” that had pictures of the bride from ages 1-10, “He Said, She Said” where guests could guess whether the bride or the groom were first to set relationship milestones, and “Say Yes to the Dress” that got all guests involved in creating fun toilet paper wedding gowns. Finally, before saying goodbye, everyone got to take memorable pictures with the bride in front of the herringbone/chevron wall. It was a beautiful day full of laughter and love, and we had a blast transforming the simple venue into glitz and glam fun for all who attended!”
