The colors alone are enough to steal our attention, but we stayed for the understated, yet breathtaking mandap design in this vibrant wedding blending a Hindu bride and Christian groom. The couple started the day getting ready at a family home before kicking off the Baraat and Hindu ceremony. This bride didn’t want a typical Hindu ceremony and took inspiration from the nature and architecture around her, stylishly applying it to décor for the event with plenty of help from wedding planner Epoch Co+. Floral design played a pertinent role in the festivities and blooms by Edges Wild Studio went above and beyond in every way. Their flowers had a modern Indian Renaissance flair, which worked beautifully since the couple wanted to keep with a very minimal mandap design – focusing on the warmth of the peach, red, marigold, and cranberry hues with contrasting pops of blue all captured in full detail by Tiny Mum Photography in the gorgeous gallery below. Once the Hindu ceremony concluded, the groom’s family read some of their favorite Bible scriptures aloud. This was followed by a casual luncheon where the couple then flipped the script, and the scene. Décor and seating from Loot Rentals and Party Time Rentals kept things simplistic yet upscale, even in the middle of a meadow. A wooded reception setup designed with an emphasis on french blue throughout runners, glassware and china married beautifully with citrus-hued floral and fruit accents of peach, mustard and vermillion, almost as if foretelling the long, fruitful life they will live together. Due to COVID, the large-scale ceremony was scaled down to their closest loved ones, so the family shared sentimental toasts to the newlyweds and a large spread of sweet treats before concluding the romantic celebrations. Read on for a note from the bride about their dream wedding maker, and what made this local vendor so special. Cheers to Nishiel and Paul!

From the bride: “We could not have done it without Epoch Co+. Their expertise in wedding events of all sizes and familiarity with many options for vendors with different design sensibilities and price ranges was so helpful. The ability to be flexible and creative while accommodating non-traditional arrangements with vendors for an Indian wedding and their patience, kindness and openness to dealing with conflicting voices in our family cannot be emphasized enough.”
