Houston Wedding Floral Trends of 2018

As 2018 comes to a close, we couldn’t help but reflect upon some of the most stunning scenes we’ve seen featured on Brides of Houston. These bouquets and floral installations from some of Houston’s most talented wedding florists were no different – they’re remarkable! We’re rounding up some of our favorite Houston wedding floral trends we saw in 2018 below! Keep checking back next week for more bridal trends we’ve loved this year!

Bold Berry Tones

One trend Houston florists did not shy away from in 2018 was big, bold, berry-toned blooms – a striking and romantic touch to any southern wedding scene! From crimsons and purples to reds and hot pinks, these stunning bouquets stole the show, in the best way possible!

Citrus-Inspired

Another Houston wedding floral trend we couldn’t help but notice? Citrus-inspired florals appeared everywhere from altars to cakes to centerpieces. Fresh citrus fruit was a major theme in 2018, and we love how it spurred so many bright and cheerful floral installations!

Floral Table Runners

Adding an inviting, organic touch to beautiful tables, we noticed runners of bright and fresh greenery and burgeoning blooms making their way onto tablescapes throughout Houston weddings this year. A simple way to dress up any table, this trend is one we adore!
