Luxe was the first word that came to mind when we saw this stunning editorial featuring a bold jewel tone palette with vogue details. Planner Lexi McWhinney of The Savvy Event Consultants found inspiration in every-day brides, hoping to incorporate styles, trends and personality that translate across all women – so cool! Unique floral design and modern furniture pieces by Flora & Eventi were perfectly placed in the scenery of The Meekermark’s bright spaces, including an avant garde birdcage floral altar and a hanging floral install above the lounge. Luxury meets minimalist in the suede invitations from Memory Lane Paperie. A tablescape curated by Swift + Company and EB Inc. Event Rentals follows in suit, perfectly balancing edge on femininity. Each model bride was adorned in gowns from Belle Âme Bridal, complementing their romantic beauty looks from Butter Artistry. And finally, you don’t want to miss the glamorous golden details of the cake from Cakes by Gina. Thankfully Stephania Campos Photography was there to capture each detail of this modern, bold palette! From the planner, Lexi McWhinney of The Savvy Event Consultants: “This shoot was inspired by every girl living or growing up in the Houston area that dreams of her wedding day, and when I say every girl, I mean Every Girl. Houston is the most diverse city in the United States, and I am proud to say that my clients reflect that diversity. Too often, young women here begin planning their weddings feeling both overwhelmed and disappointed by the inspiration out there because they cannot picture themselves in the shoes of the brides on the covers and pages of the popular magazines and blogs they see. No matter her skin color, hair type, stature or overall personal style, every young woman should be able to find inspiration for her perfect day. This shoot was designed to showcase brides of different ethnicities and body types set against a gorgeous wedding venue that can give us farmhouse, offbeat and luxury vibes all in one place at the same time.”
