Had a full day of proposal festivities

I have known Alex since our senior year in high school. From the moment we met, I could tell there was something special about him. Alex always takes the time to care for everyone around him, he finds a way to make me smile even on the hardest days, and he is beyond kind. 

The day Alex asked me to be his wife was in the most thoughtful way possible – he made it an entire day. The day started out with a video. He somehow convinced our family and friends to put together snapshots and recordings about our story. They had all shared what made our relationship so special and how important this new chapter would be. Alex then sent me on a scavenger hunt – to the nail salon where I got my nails done with my best friends, to a hair stylist with my two sisters, to Maggiano’s for lunch with our moms, and to Neiman Marcus to pick out shoes and get my done makeup with our grandmothers and aunts. Before I knew it, I was standing outside on a rooftop bar staring at my future husband. A row of sunflowers guided my way down – each were being held by our fathers, grandfathers and brothers. I finally made my way to Alex and listened to all the reasons why he could not wait to spend forever with me. Alex got down on one knee and asked if I would marry him. Of course, this was the easiest YES. Now on September 19th, 2020, I will marry the man of my dreams and become Mrs. Luna! #LoveyoutotheLuna Alex and I are eager to start our life in the Woodlands, Tx. We just moved here in May and cannot wait to be the biggest Astros fans!
