The couple grew up in the same neighborhood in Richmond, Texas. Due to their families being close friends, Kendall and Teagan went on summer vacations and spent weekends together while growing up. Kendall and Teagan remained only friends until 2016, when Kendall moved back home after living out of state for five years. Absence must make the heart grow fonder because, after Kendall’s return, the two quickly grew feelings for each other. Teagan proposed in Kendall’s parent’s backyard with lights spelled “MARRY ME?”. Of course, Kendall said “yes” to her childhood friend turned fiancé!
