Life has a funny way of coming full circle, especially in love, and this couple’s whimsical spring wedding has the neatest meet-cute story behind it! Sara and Nick first met at Texas Tech University, or so they thought. They became pretty good friends but went their separate ways after graduation, with Sara heading off to England for grad school and Nick moving to Houston. Years later when Sara moved back, the pair reconnected through Bumble and it wasn’t until they started dating that the two discovered their very first meeting place was actually at a wedding in 1993 when they were toddlers. Life sure has a funny way of working out!
For their whimsical spring wedding, planner Morgan Marie Events coordinated the use of all the cool tones. Dusty blue, eucalyptus, navy and peach played out in the couple’s traditional Catholic Church ceremony followed by a lively barn reception. Sara and her girls got glammed up by the talented makeup artists and hairstylists at BP Artistry and before they knew it, it was time for her to walk down the aisle! It was important to both bride and groom as well as their families that the two got married in the church, and they had a lovely ceremony held at Epiphany of the Lord Catholic Church before making their way to Beckendorff Farms for the reception full of dainty details and plentiful greenery. It was a beautiful March evening and when the newlyweds arrived, their guests were already having a great time. The catered dinner turned out absolutely divine and the music queued by their DJ got everyone up and out on the dance floor. Both bride and groom say their whole day went by far too quickly, but everything about it was simply perfect. This whimsical spring wedding shows the lighter side of Texas with so much elegant, romantic style! Read on for a note from the bride about her dream wedding maker and what made them so special. Cheers to the Floras!
