Courtney and Nicholas met in 8th grade English class when Nicholas sat at the desk directly in front of Courtney, and she immediately thought he was the cutest boy in the class. All throughout high school, they became friends and even went to their sophomore year homecoming dance together. To end what seemed like an already perfect night to Courtney, Nicholas asked her to be his girlfriend while they were stargazing on a friend’s trampoline – how sweet! Sadly, they broke up before heading to college but the sweet couple rekindled their love and they have been inseparable ever since. The bride’s father always told her, “if it’s meant to be, he’ll find his way back to you, I promise.” Luckily, Nicholas did and the rest was history!
Courtney and Nicholas’ modern farmhouse wedding was truly a dream come true. The couple’s natural, airy wedding with classy touches of dusty blue hues was filled with laughter, a few tears, and lots of smiles. One of the bride’s favorite memories from her special day was when she got to enjoy an intimate blind first look with Nicholas moments before the ceremony where she could feel her nerves “melt away” as they read their personal vows. Courtney’s lace bridal gown from Brickhouse Bridal was beautifully complemented with a bouquet tied in blue ribbon donning sentimental family photo charms. The couple danced the night away with the people they love most, but made sure to enjoy one last private dance before going out for their grand sparkler exit. To top it all off, Reverent Wedding Films captured their special day with a video that they will cherish forever. Cheers to the new Mr. and Mrs. Boyd and the years to come!
