Modern Garden Wedding at Hughes Manor

Planned by Chancey Charm Weddings, Jacquelyn and Brett’s modern garden wedding at Hughes Manor combined ethereal romance with contemporary details for one beautiful celebration! Florals by Bramble & Bee in ivory and white emphasized the light and airy aesthetic of the day, along with gorgeous ghost chairs, bridesmaids’ dresses in mixed light hues and light-colored linens throughout Hughes Manor‘s indoor reception area. Jacquelyn wore a stunning low-back dress and chic floral updo by Sunkissed and Made Up for an effortless look, complemented by Brett’s classic tuxedo with blush tie. The couple will be able to re-live their special day for years to come thanks to footage by Reverent Films, who captured every lovely detail and look of love between the new bride and groom. A unique venue in the heart of Houston, bright white florals and a modern garden aesthetic made this wedding one to remember. Cheers to the newlyweds!

From the bride: “The day was perfect. Our florist did a great job fitting my desire for the wedding to be a mix of modern, ethereal and garden and Hughes Manor, of course, is just the perfect effortless back drop. Thinking back on the day, one thing I am so glad we did was stay together. It is so easy to get pulled apart talking to different people and friends, but we stayed as a team. Of course, you are inevitably going to be separated for a few minutes here and there, but we made an effort to get back to each other as soon as possible. It was our day, and we spent it together. My favorite detail from the wedding was our wedding favor to the guests – a CD of love songs that Brett and I love and wanted to share with our friends and family. Some of the songs were from the CD he made me on for our proposal or were songs from our favorite bands. I love cookies, so naturally we had to have cookies for dessert in addition to the cake. His groom’s cake was three tiers of breakfast tacos. Light-up maracas and tambourines filled the dance floor when the clock struck nine.”
