Wedding Inspiration

Modern Palm Springs Inspired Wedding Scene at The Meekermark

Dried palm is quickly becoming one of the hottest wedding trends, and in this modern Palm Springs inspired scene, we can totally see why! An early springtime aesthetic combines muted jewel tones of mauve and pink along with earthy shades like taupe and faded green, all work beautifully in tandem with each other to make The Meekermark pop with color and texture galore! For this special event, Epoch Co+ designed a regal head table as the centerpiece of the room, flanked by colorful tables, a combo of ghost chairs and wooden seating and modern geometric accent pieces. The model bride for the day wore an ultra flattering strappy gown from Brickhouse Bridal, with an open back and deep lace V-neck above a flowy A-line tulle skirt.  Who says wedding desserts have to be fancy? Sometimes simple favorites do the trick. Guests enjoyed cupcakes and cotton candy for dessert as the DJ from LG Event Pro kept the entertainment lively all evening long. Overall, the unfussy, simple design of this space allows the colors and textures of the modern Palm Springs-inspired decor and florals to shine.

From the planner: “We had the honor of designing The Meekermark‘s Date Night this last Valentines Day. We opted to go for a Modern Palm Springs Romance Design. We had a head table staged for couples to view and a model bride. This design had an emphasis on white and bleached florals with a pop of blush and mauve. For guest tables we focused on rich velvet linens in mauve and cream with pops of amethyst purple. We added in a few satin linens in a muddy taupe color to complement the earthy tones of the venue. Guest table decor was simplistic. Bright pink napkins were added as a vibrant addition to the Valentine’s Day occasion, and cupcakes by Truly Scrumptious awaited each guest. Decor on the tables had a focus on ambiance with various candle elements and pops of greenery or bud vases. To keep with the modern vibe, we had a mix of concrete and geo glass bud vases intermingled with mercury glass votives. A stellar team of vendors spoiled the couples for a fabulous night of fun, celebrating LOVE.”
