Romantic candlelight, earthy lush florals and vintage details make Whitney and Conor’s moody rustic Houston wedding gorgeous inspiration for so many brides. Their sweet ceremony was outside in a beautiful pecan grove and dinner and dancing followed in the barn where rentals from EB Inc Event Rentals and the florals from Flower Vibes set the perfect scene. Whitney and Conor met Labor Day weekend 2014 over drinks. They each had friends in town and hit it off immediately. One day, Whitney arrived at his townhouse and noticed candles were everywhere. As she rounded the corner for the last set of stairs, he was on one knee. Whitney even interrupted Conor to say “yes!” before he finished proposing.
The couple was thrilled to marry in the Houston area. They thought Chandelier Grove was an amazing venue, and they were hooked once they toured the space. The ceremony was held outside in the pecan grove with cocktail hour on the lawn and dinner in the barn with tons of candles and flowers. Whitney and Conor opted out of a lot of “traditional” wedding rituals to have as much time as possible with their guests. It was surreal to look around at the most important people in their lives gathered to celebrate them.
