Mark and I first met in 2010, through our shared hobby of skydiving. It was love at first sight, but we didn’t rush into marriage. We took a vacation to Prague with some of our family and friends in October of 2017. Unbeknownst to me, Mark was planning to propose on this trip. We had decided to take a boat ride in the Vtalva River, which flows under the famous Charles Bridge. Mark made sure that we were in a boat to ourselves and waited for the perfect moment to play “our song” and get down on one knee. Our friends and family were in on the plan, cheering for us from their nearby boats and ready with celebratory champagne.
