Dark and moody meets whimsy and wonder in this styled shoot featuring peonies in the pines from the planning team at Epoch Co+ and Houston wedding venue The Meekermark. Ethereal tablescape details like gauzy fabric draping, candlesticks and mercury glass complement the dreamy setting of The Meekermark‘s iconic open-air chapel, but the planning team also wanted to infuse a few modern and whimsical details, including the blush dinner plates, contemporary calligraphy and overflowing, organic bouquets, featuring eucalyptus and a pop of color with peonies, of course. Strategic layering gives dimension to each table setting and creates an intimate, romantic atmosphere as natural light pours in through The Meekermark‘s windows. Love and Lace Bridal Boutique provided the darling gowns for the model to wear, and her loose, freeform bouquet is just dreamy! A scene as gorgeous as this one, with peonies in the pines at this to-die-for woodsy venue, gives us serious inspiration!

From the planners, Heather and Paige of Epoch Co+: “We believe in keeping your place settings clean and simple—if you want to add in some funky colors or textures, opt to do so in the goblets or napkins. We chose to keep the goblets classic with a clear color option, the plates a subtle millennial pink and added texture through the gauzy napkins. To change it up a bit, we opted to do non-traditional design by off-setting the plates, angling the delicately draped napkin and placing both flatware on the right side (blade in of course!).”
