New and Improved Houston Wedding Venue – Willowyn Barn

Houston wedding venue Willowynn Barn, known previously as The Barn at Willowynn, is a lovely farmhouse wedding and event venue that holds 200 people, nestled away on 18 acres just outside Houston in Galveston County. Conveniently located near both the city and sea with numerous attractions and easy access to airports and hotels, the venue also boasts a gorgeous rustic interior on a backdrop of willow trees. Recent renovations have brought some new and noteworthy changes around the property, and we asked the owners a few questions about what future brides can expect! What is the biggest difference seen with the new venue remodel?

In the last year, we’ve added an open-air chapel, outdoor fireplace, the donkey barn, and we got a 1966 red mustang for our couples to use! These in addition to the four giant oak trees behind the venue equip Willowyn Barn for both indoor and outdoor wedding ceremonies.

How does the venue’s history play into the way it looks and functions today?

Our owners have a barn building company that specializes in real pile barn construction. They designed the Willowynn Barn to have an intimate setting for 200 guests to enjoy each other’s company in the same space. They designed our new chapel off of the chapel they were married in at Gruene, Texas!
