From the artist, Caked up with Riley: For this look, I wanted all the romantic girly vibes! I used pops of pinks and rosy tones. Pink shadows really complement blue eyes and if done right can still look ‘neutral.’ I used a metallic cream shadow on the lid and the Dior Face Palette on top for extra sparkle and to ensure its vibrancy lasted the entire day. Using a product on both the face and eyes creates cohesiveness for the desired look! We kept it light-medium coverage on the face to give us that fresh dewy skin. Cream products reinforced with powders not only help with blending everything together but also helps boost the product’s longevity. An updo is a perfect option for Texas spring weather, rain or shine your hair will maintain volume and style! We created a tousled high bun for that effortless romantic look using Morrocan Oil hairsprays and volumizing powder.”

From the artist, Caked up with Riley: “For this look, accentuating natural beauty and keeping the skin glowy were my main focuses to help look healthy and more natural while using medium-full coverage products. Skin prep and care play a HUGE role in this. The eyeshadow look is so simple yet completes it. She didn’t want to have a super dark shadow so I was able to keep it light and bright while still making her eyes pop using warm browns. I used individual lashes to maintain the ‘natural’ feel. This is my favorite tip because it allows me to give them a custom lash complimenting all different eye shapes! Lastly, we finished it off with the BEST setting spray. This makes sure the makeup stays all day long! She had a 3-hour drive to the studio for bridal portraits so this was a MUST. For hair, she was torn on what to do so we created a loose half up half down style with face-framing pieces. We added a touch of baby’s breath for a fun and fresh look!”

Adding a touch of whispy face-framing details to finish off. It was a beautiful day and the lighting was perfect! It was just windy enough for the feathers and her wispy bangs to flow. Our color palette for this look was blush and we chose a soft natural glam to not only highlight the dress but Lily’s sultry eyes.”

Her hair flowed and pulled back seamlessly, just enough to show off her gorgeous earrings. One of our favorite things to do is custom blend lipstick for our brides in our studio!
