Romantic Ballroom Wedding Designed By Two Be Wed

With the grandiose backdrop of The Heights Villa and a vision for an elegant affair, we love this fairytale brought to life in Alex and Matthew’s romantic ballroom wedding designed by Two Be Wed. With the venue’s combination of glittering chandeliers and gilded design details, the couple only needed a few additional elements to tie everything together. Flora Bella Designs created simple arrangements of deep red and white roses to use for the bouquets, table centerpieces and altar embellishments. Table arrangements and other decor elements refrained from displaying color, leaving the bridesmaids’ merlot-hued dresses as single big statement splash in the room. The bride kept her look elegant and minimal in a dip-back gown, pairing her look with a chic up-do and natural makeup from Sunkissed and Made Up. The couple danced the night away with their guests, ending the celebration in a glamorous vintage getaway car from Monarch Limos. Cheers to this spectacular wedding!

From the bride: “The venue we selected held sentimental value since it was right down the street from the home I grew up in and my family lives in still. The bridesmaids and I got our hair and makeup done at my family home and hung out there all day until it was time to go to the venue. Thanks to my planner, Sava, I wasn’t worried about a thing. I knew everything was under control, and I had a great time just visiting with friends and having (probably a few too many) glasses of champagne when getting ready! I’m pretty sure Matt spent part of the day at the pool with his groomsmen so we were both very relaxed. Everything honestly went off without a hitch. It was perfect.

One of my favorite memories of the day was waiting until the last moment to see my dad once I was all done up and ready. He and I had a minute to ourselves before the ceremony and he gifted me a ring that belonged to my grandmother. He had been saving it for my wedding day. I wore it all day on my right hand and loved having that piece of hers with us. That is definitely a moment I will never forget.”
