Fidana + Michael held a rustic wedding adorned with red, green, and yellow at the beautiful Willowynn Barn, full of sentimental and cultural details to add a personal touch. Fidana is Chinese, and Michael is Portuguese, and they wanted to honor their cultures at their wedding. This included gifting Portuguese favors called “Galos de Bercelos” that represent good luck packaged in a Chinese Bridal Carriage Gift box, a Chinese Tea ceremony that was incorporated into the main ceremony, surprising guests with a Lion dance at the reception. Their best friend officiated, and they wrote their own vows. Fidana + Michael also wanted their special day to be laid back as a reflection of their personalities, and there was something for everyone, from yard games and a fire pit outside, to a donkey passing out jello shots! It was truly a special day to remember.
