A Spring Garden Soiree Blooming with Fresh Delicate Details in Pastel Hues

As if straight out of the French countryside, this wedding inspiration is quite literally blooming with an abundance of fresh, delicate details in all the pretty pastel hues we yearn for in the seasonal change! Fresh lavender, butterfly ranculas, purple dahlias and scabiosa with soft yellow sweet pea and daffodil from Cali and Bloom take center stage alongside muted pastel accents, all perfectly placed in the industrial setting of The Luminaire. As an undeniable mix of garden party and modern elements, rentals from 2 B Luxe Events and Rentals make all the difference when it comes to creating an effortlessly stunning tablescape, complete with whimsical bouquets of organic blooms and delicate pastel accents in every element. Our model bride steals the show in her floral-detailed gown from Brickhouse Bridal, as well as a bridal makeup look created by Honey, Bee Lovely Beauty that screams spring with a soft, dewy glow and a striking pop of bright pink on the lip. The Chocolate Llama Cake Company definitely wowed us with their absolutely swoon-worthy four-tiered masterpiece of a cake, adorned with hand made wafer paper flowers that look too real to be true! We’ve been transported to the French countryside with this editorial and it’s easy to say we don’t see ourselves coming back any time soon – can you blame us? Scroll on to see every fresh, delicate detail in the prettiest pastel hues captured by Brandon and Lindsay Lutz and to read about the inspo for this shoot from a few of our vendors. Cheers!

From the florist, Hannah with Cali and Bloom: “It is so hard to choose a favorite! For me, it would probably be the bouquet. It looked so effortlessly put together; like someone just strolled through the garden picking their favorite flowers. The negative space design allowed every bloom to be adored, and the airiness movement resembled a cool spring breeze bouncing the fresh lavender and butterfly ranunculus around. The contrast of bright purple dahlias and scabiosa with a soft yellow sweet pea and daffodil took me to a French lavender field with the rising sun waking up. I can only imagine this is what it looks and smells like!”

From the baker, Kellie with The Chocolate Llama Cake Company: “I knew right away that I wanted to make flowers the main focal point. As beautiful as frills, ruffles and other design elements on a cake can be, I wanted to allow the flowers to represent the frills and ruffles on their own. Making flowers is a long and detailed process but it’s so rewarding when you finish and step back to see your work. I felt wafer paper was the way to go as it’s very on trend right now and I, personally, feel that it brings a more ethereal touch to hand made flowers rather than gum paste.”
