Dreams and Nostalgia curated the perfect invitation suite with a soft, deckled edge and scripted writing. The table setting from LBL Event Rentals added some subtle glam with gold accents, mint china and rose-colored glassware. The model bride donned an elegant hair and makeup look a la BP Artistry. “This suite was created for a bride desiring a classic design with an elegant, romantic feel. As guests open the invitations, the first thing they see is a preview of the setting where the bride and groom will exchange their vows. I loved designing an envelope liner that plays off the shape of the envelope while simultaneously incorporating an architectural nod to the unique ceremony site at The Meekermark. With a minimal color palette for the invitation suite pieces, the design emphasis lies on the textural quality of the handmade deckled edge paper, and the simplistic elegance of the calligraphy elements. A curated set of floral postage stamps was the perfect extra detail to emphasize the bride’s vision for a romantic garden affair.” – Dreams and Nostalgia
“We created a planted garden-style aisle design that we repurposed along the front face of the head table. The idea was for the flowers to look like they were growing straight out of the ground! We always work with our brides on ways that they can repurpose pieces from the ceremony into the reception. The dreamy, airy, puffy cloud-like theme is a trend in floral design currently and we used light materials to create an airy and fluffy altar focal piece. We used tones from the color palette to create a color gradient in the altarpiece.” – The Tallest Tulip
“After a season of deep fall colors, we wanted to pull in ‘Spring Garden in Bloom’ vibes across the entire event. We feel that dusty blue gave the traditional pink and lavender colors of spring a new fresh look. Flowers were everywhere, from the lovely cake to the oh-so-dreamy cathedral-length veil. Our bride was too petite for the large, wide bouquets that have been in style so we opted for a more traditional round shape that wouldn’t overwhelm her, keeping the attention on her. Loose and natural hair paired great with natural makeup to keep with the fresh spring look. Floral ‘clouds,’ a planted aisle, acrylic place markers and vintage glassware were all paired together to create an elegant yet on-trend spring wedding!” – Melanie Keown and Karli Himarios with Whimsical Events
