From the hair and makeup artists with Glow + Grace Artistry: “We immediately knew we wanted an elegant but soft-focused, romantic look that would compliment the white florals and overall feel of the shoot. We kept the eyes simple, with subtle, shimmery bronze and cocoa shades to compliment and highlight Amber’s beautiful skin with a pop of powder liner to define her lash line for amplified effect. For Amber’s complexion, we wanted her to have that ‘no makeup’ makeup with a glowy complexion, subtle contour and hues of a mauvy-toned blush to highlight how BEAUTIFUL her skin was. To balance the look and make sure there was a pop somewhere without overpowering the vision of the shoot, we decided to add a ‘bold-ish’ lip with muted berry tones. Amber already has gorgeous, full lips so I decided an ‘ombre’ styled lip would be best– I applied richer mulberry liner to the outer corners of her mouth, and gradually lightened the depth of the berry moving towards the center of the lips until it was finished with Maybelline’s Baddest Beige lipstick in the center to create the perfect pout.
The hair was always intended to be a classic bridal favorite, but Lexi not only executed a polished, romantic chignon to coincide with the overall aesthetic of the shoot – She also chose to add an embellishment to elevate the simplicity of Amber’s updo. Lexi added delicate craft pearls in a starburst shape to one side of Amber’s chignon to complete her bridal updo, which was so fun and beautiful in an elegantly unique way!”
