Traditional Candlelit Wedding Captured By Meggie Taylor Photography

With elegant floral arrangements and touches of blue and gold, Kellie and Alex’s traditional candlelit wedding captured by Meggie Taylor Photography was everything we love in a classic celebration. Prestige Events transformed The Bell Tower on 34th into Kellie and Alex’s dream venue. Adorne Artistry did hair and makeup for the bride and her bridesmaids, and from the tables to the grand staircase, candles brought a romantic ambience to the entire space. The couple incorporated pops of blue throughout their day in the bridesmaids’ dresses, guest favors, table decor and more. Cheers to the Westbrooks!

From the bride: “Our wedding day was absolute perfection and a complete dream of a day. From the get-go of planning our wedding, we wanted it to be elegant yet fun. We wanted our guests to have fun. When I think back to our wedding day, not only do I think about how gorgeous everything was, from the venue, to the flowers and decorations, but I think about the love and joy that Alex and I were surrounded with and the incredible amount of fun we had. Faith is not only the cornerstone and most important part our relationship, but the same goes for our families as well. We wanted our wedding to reflect and be about the love of Jesus Christ and wanted our guests to have fun.

While our wedding was ‘about us,’ it wasn’t about us in the least bit. It was perfect. To be surrounded by friends and family near and far was unlike anything we had ever experienced. People from all different stages of our lives, together in one place – absolutely incredible. I couldn’t help but think, ‘This is a glimpse of what Heaven is going to be like.’ It was something so unique and rare, we made a point to stop and take it all in so many times throughout the night.”
