Wedding Inspiration

This Couple’s Passion for Travel Inspired their Elegant Jewel Toned Soirée

Travel holds such a special part of Danielle and Alex’s sweet love story, and we couldn’t have fallen harder for how they incorporated travel-inspired details throughout their jewel toned soirée! With the goal for their wedding to be cohesive and meaningful, travel-inspired details of airplane wax seals, passport programs and engraved compass place cards not only showcased their sweet shared love of travel, but also to highlight Alex’s profession of being a pilot. Fun fact: for their first date, Alex flew Danielle in a plane to their lunch destination – how stinkin’ sweet! Muted peach, plum, burgundy and blue hues brought warm autumnal tones to the rustic grandeur of the all-white setting in the gorgeous Arrowhead Hill. After being sold on the vision of this venue before it was even built, Danielle and Alex booked it when all there was was just dirt – they were THAT confident that they would have their dream celebration here! Climbing greenery and delicate florals work in perfect harmony with soft rustic touches throughout this space to make this couple’s “fine art” style wedding theme truly come to life in eye-catching scenes. Danielle’s stunning ballgown-style bridal gown with a sweetheart neckline from Brickhouse Bridal looks like it was practically made for her to wear on her big day – not to mention her incredible hair and makeup artistry from the experts at Etoilly Artistry of loosely curled locks and a soft pop of pink on her lips. Our favorite detail of this travel-inspired day has to be the couple’s luggage tag seating chart – to this day they receive photos from their guests about their luggage tags traveling around the world! Scroll to see all of the elegant and travel-inspired details from Danielle and Alex’s jewel toned soirée. Cheers to Mr. and Mrs. Konzack!

From the bride on her favorite detail: “Alex and I both have a big passion for travel, and he is a pilot so it made most sense to incorporate that part of our life into our day. Our programs were inspired by passports, we had a ‘travel advice’ table with custom postcards, and throughout all of our paper goods, we had an airplane wax seal. Two of my favorite travel details were the engraved compass name tags and our luggage tag seating chart.”
