Vibrant Watercolor Wedding Planned By Two Be Wed

Meghan and Jacque’s vibrant watercolor wedding, planned by Two Be Wed, is one we won’t soon forget! With bold colors and hand-painted details throughout, from the invitation suite to the bridesmaids’ dresses, cocktail hour signage and everything in between, each and every bright and colorful touch added whimsy and fun to their day. Mallory of Two Be Wed made sure the ceremony hosted at downtown Houston’s Discovery Green Park went off without a hitch. Meghan loved that Mallory was full of great ideas throughout the planning process, too! The couple greeted guests upon their arrival with a unique welcome gift full of goodies representing their personalities, and the personal touches didn’t stop there! Individually chosen bridesmaids’ dresses in hues of teal and blue, special cocktails and beautifully designed lounge areas in the reception tent gave this sweet soirée a feeling all its own. With bold florals from Bramble & Bee and a knock-out gown from Casa de Novia, the bride looked stunning, from the first look to the last kiss! Cheers to the happy couple!

From the bride: “While wedding planning, I saw a lot of pictures of cake toppers that said, ‘Best Day Ever’ and while we didn’t use one of those cake toppers, that is exactly how I would describe the day! There had been rain in the forecast, but we ended up with perfect weather. Our friends and family got to spend the day in the hotel pool, in the park and around downtown. I spent the day getting ready with a bird’s eye view of Discovery Green and my best friends around to keep me laughing all afternoon. Jacque and I had a first look, and everything was smooth sailing from there. Our ceremony was just the right balance of formal and relaxed, and then we got the party started with a traditional New Orleans second line from Discovery Green to The Grove. Neither of us ever really like to be the center of attention, but we did attract an audience in the park that day, and it was so much fun to celebrate the start of our marriage in such a big way. We have a few musical friends who performed throughout the night, and otherwise Klockwork kept everyone on the dance floor until the very end, which is exactly how we wanted it! At the end of the night, we walked back to the Marriott wishing we could start it all over again.”
