Charles invited me on a “golf trip” in Monterey, California. When we got to California, he took me to Point Lobos to go on a scenic walk before dinner. We walked to a lookout point with cliffs and crashing blue waves. As we stood looking over the ocean reminiscing on our past trips together, he begins to tell me that we aren’t here for a game of golf. He gets down on one knee and asks me to be his wife. There was a photographer in the trees capturing the entire moment. When I turn around, I see both of our families standing there. He flew everyone out to witness the best moment of our lives.
