A modern minimalist design with intentional uses of color, Daniela and Jaime’s wedding shines with an understated beauty. They tied the knot on April 29, 2023. Read on to see more from our December Vows that Wow couple!
How the Couple Met
Daniela and Jaime’s romance began in the summer of 2013 while the two were home from college. Connected through a mutual friend, the two hit it off. Later that fall, Daniela invited Jaime to a tailgate at Texas A&M, where one visit turned into another and another. Before they knew it, the pair began dating.
“Since then, Jaime, the groom, kept track of the number of days they had been dating a la ‘500 Days of Summer,’ which happened to be one of our favorite movies,” the couple writes.
Inspired by this part of their love story, the couple created a custom cocktail napkin design that highlights relationship milestones with the corresponding day in Daniela and Jaime’s dating timeline!
The Wedding Day
The wedding festivities began with getting ready. Daniela and her bridesmaids were dolled up by the professionals at Bespoken Beauty. The team paired natural makeup with soft, romantic hairstyles for a look to enhance each woman’s beauty.
After the couple fancied up, they shared a first look surrounded by the exquisite grounds of Arrowhead Hill, where they would later say “I do” and dance the night away with family and friends.
Along with tree-lined Texas hills and a cool springtime breeze, the couple’s wedding was complete with flowers from Unforgettable Floral. Baby’s breath and white roses paired with vibrant pops of orange, yellow and pink made for memorable use of colors. The wedding was made complete with decor and rentals from BBJ La Tavola, adding touches of springtime flair to the couple’s reception.

“Sneaking away for sunset photos during the reception turned out to be one of the most memorable parts of the night. … It was at this specific moment, under the glow of the evening sun, that everything clicked. After months of planning and sourcing vendors, there was no doubt that these were the people made to bring their wedding day to life.”
