For June, we’re spotlighting Kelsey and Ryan’s heartfelt, elegant wedding at Chateau Nouvelle—a day filled with joy, intention, and show-stopping moments that honored both their love story and the people who helped shape it.

The Wedding Day

From the moment guests arrived at Chateau Nouvelle, they were greeted by grandeur. The French-style venue, with its grand staircase, wrought iron doors, and sweeping chandeliers, created an enchanting backdrop for a day full of beauty and meaning.

The ceremony space was transformed into a whimsical floral haven, with soaring arrangements framing the altar and blooms lining the aisle like a spring garden. Kelsey walked down that aisle in a showstopping gown from Whittington Bridal, a voluminous, off-the-shoulder dress with textured lace and romantic movement that perfectly captured the spirit of the day.

Design & Details

Every part of the celebration was infused with personal flair. Custom playing cards were placed at each guest’s seat, and a hand-painted, garden-inspired seating chart brought a burst of creativity to the reception entry. Long tables dressed in patterned linens were adorned with florals in full bloom and lined with blush-tied taper candles. The combination of velvet textures, gilded flatware, and soft candlelight created an atmosphere that felt both intimate and elevated.

Bright Event Rentals and Provision Events collaborated to transform the space into a true masterpiece. From velvet chairs to gold-rimmed chargers and mirrored table numbers, the layers of design came together to create a cohesive and jaw-dropping reception space.

Cuisine & Celebration

The couple treated guests to an exceptional culinary experience by LaRue Culinary, who crafted a refined and flavorful menu that was as beautiful as it was delicious. Thoughtfully plated dishes and signature cocktails flowed throughout the night, while Ryan’s Bellagio-themed groom’s cake—served as a playful and meaningful nod to their Las Vegas engagement.

The day was captured in stunning detail by Erika Geier Photography, whose editorial, emotion-driven style highlighted both the elegance of the venue and the intimacy of the moments in between. Her portraits of Kelsey and Ryan feel timeless, romantic, and full of genuine connection.

Personal Touches & Favorite Moments

One of the most unforgettable parts of the day? A surprise performance by Kelsey and Ryan’s moms, who took to the stage to sing with the band—a moment that left the room cheering! The couple closed out their wedding day with a private last dance, just the two of them, savoring the magic of the day before their grand exit.

Reflecting on her planning journey, Kelsey shared:

“Our wedding celebrated more than just the two of us, it was a reflection of the blended family that shaped who I and Ryan are as individuals. While we honored many classic wedding traditions, it was especially meaningful to have all the different parts of my family represented and involved throughout the day. Their presence and support reminded me that love doesn’t always flow one path, and that families can be beautifully complex and deeply connected. Including them in our celebration wasn’t just important, it was essential to making the day feel whole. Without them, Ryan and I wouldn’t be who we are.”
