The Inspiration: California Aesthetic
From Two Be Wed: “Due to COVID-19, their original venue in California canceled their date, and they decided to move it to the family ranch in Texas. From the California coast to the Texas Hill Country, the landscapes were very different, but the vision was still the same. Brooke and Aaron wanted to stay true to their preferred aesthetic – simple and sophisticated. Fresh white linens, paired with ghost chairs and white, low floral maintained a neutral palette with clean lines. The monochromatic palette was impactful, yet understated with white draping, white dance floor and classic crystal chandeliers.”
Favorite Wedding Detail
“An original photograph taken by the bride’s father served as inspiration to create a watercolor style rendering of the road leading to the family ranch. The artwork was wrapped around the invitation suite and was the first piece the guests saw as they opened their invitations. The vintage postage used was also a theme in the bride and groom’s story.”
Using the Venue
“We wanted to provide an opportunity for the guests to truly enjoy the natural landscape and views at the ranch. We created a long, dramatic walkway that overlooked the lake and lead to the amphitheater-style ceremony seating, which descended to the overwater ceremony dock. It provided quite an entrance for the bride and the most beautiful, sophisticated setting for Brooke and Aaron’s vows.”
