The BEST wedding venue in the Houston area! It is located north of Houston and overlooks Lake Conroe. The view of the water is breathtaking especially when the sun is setting. Lance, the owner, has done incredible renovations to this venue and has a great eye for design. The venue is spacious allowing weddings the flexibility to be creative however they see fit. The separate bridal and groom suite are stunning as well! Charleston Lane’s team is amazing and work cohesively to make your dreams come true. They have great customer service and do everything in their power to make your event successful. The venue offers all inclusive packages that have everything and anything you can think of from catering, alcohol, floral, decor, and so much more. Charleston Lane has it all! Book your wedding and events here! You won’t regret it!

We only have the best things to say about our absolutely stunning wedding at Charleston Lane. The outdoor grounds were so colorful and picture-perfect and we and our guests had many wonderful spots to choose from for gorgeous photos. Everything was presented and organized beyond expectations and our guests couldn't stop raving about the beauty of the venue and the delicious food from Caviar & Banana Events. We knew the food would be phenomenal and phenomenal it was. From the endless cocktail hour stations to the full sit-down dinner options to the additional desserts beyond cake, no one left hungry or unsatisfied. We couldn't have had this perfect day without the tireless efforts of the Charleston Lane staff, especially Rachel and Alex and our bridal attendant Diana. They truly made this day happen for us and we are so very grateful. They were always professional and expectations were communicated well. Day of, they handled requests and changes from family like a true professional and if there were any hiccups at all that night, we would have never known because everything went according to schedule from our perspective. Diana was an absolute angel and she handled everything I needed from getting me a drink of water right before the ceremony to holding and fluffing out my train for all the photos to bustling my dress (18 buttons with really well-hidden loops). She catered to the needs of us and the bridal party as soon as we arrived and also made sure my husband and I were eating through the night by providing us our own private dinner of cocktail hour foods in the bridal suite (one of my favorite memories of the whole day) and then having the staff pack a big to-go bag of all the dinner and dessert options for us at the end of the night. Family and friends complimented us on how smooth the whole wedding went and we know Rachel, Alex, Diana, the chefs, and all the Charleston Lane staff were the main reasons for that so thank you again! We are extremely grateful we picked Charleston Lane for our special day and we would highly recommend everyone to entrust this dedicated and caring team to take care of you for all your wedding needs. You'll be so happy you did!

The venue is alleged to be "handicapped accessible," but based on my experience yesterday, that is false advertising. This is absolutely NOT the place to hold an event if there will be significant mobility-impaired guests attending, wheelchair-bound, dependent on canes/walkers, elderly. I use a cane. If nobody has physical limitations, great, but for those who do, be warned. Charleston Lane is beautiful, I'll give it that: right on Lake Conroe, massive wood deck, big dining hall and ballroom, high ceilings, huge windows looking out over the water. There was no handicapped parking apparent in the lot (no parking close to the entrance at all), no signage directing to handicapped access. When we arrived it was raining heavily. The circular drive to the protected covered entrance was BLOCKED by orange cones, preventing guests from being dropped off! (Bad weather is not taken into consideration?) Even with an umbrella, I was completely soaked by the time I walked from the car to the door, and then had a difficult time making it up a set of slippery exterior front entry steps (no ramp), only to be shocked once inside that I had no way down to the ballroom and dining room one floor below! Charleston Lane has a truly lovely but EXTREMELY steep and lengthy staircase leading from the lobby down to the main ballroom. NO ELEVATOR. No interior access other than the tall stairs. My husband and I were told we could go back out into the pouring rain to our car and make our way around the building, past a wall on a side road in front of some apartments/townhouses, down an incline to a separate service area (dumpster adjacent) through a LOCKED gate. Evidently THIS was the handicapped parking? We would have to wait while someone was called to meet us to unlock said gate, and then we could enter the venue escorted by security THROUGH THE KITCHEN, where staff was actively preparing appetizers/dinner. I didn't want to drown us like rats in the storm any more than necessary or track mud through a food prep area, so painstakingly (and embarrassingly) descended the stairs with the help of my husband and a security guard. Went into the restroom to try and dry out (no hot air blower, alas, so I sat in damp clothing the entire eve), and while one of only 3 stalls was handicapped, it would have been a tight squeeze to maneuver a wheelchair into it from the narrow sink counter zone. After the wedding ceremony and during dinner, the staff removed ALL chairs from the main ballroom, so there was nowhere to sit to view the dancing/subsequent reception activities. Mobility-challenged guests (and heck, anyone just plain tired) were left to stand, stay separated in the adjoining dining room, or haul a chair into the ballroom from a banquet table. Maybe leaving a few seats around the spacious perimeter would have been politely accommodating? With NO ELEVATOR, same problem encountered when leaving the venue; we would have to wait for the guard, be led through the kitchen (busy with staff trying to clean up and prep for the cake/dessert service), go to our car, wait for a gate to be unlocked. I ended up shakily climbing the tall staircase flanked by my husband and another guest. The carpeting on the stairs didn't reach all the way to the sides, so leaning on the banister while trying to stay on the carpet and off the slick surface was awkward and nerve-wracking. I wasn't alone; I noticed other mature individuals also having issues with the steep stairs. Incredible that a supposedly public multi-level "luxury" rental locale such as this has no elevator, no stair lift, no inner ramps! As stated earlier, the site itself was visually striking, but that doesn't make up for an anxious attendee experience as an older handicapped person, and this deeply affected my enjoyment of the wedding. I will never accept another invitation to Charleston Lane, and advise anyone with physically-challenged family/friends and senior citizens involved to seriously consider how formidable this venue will be for them. Thank you.

I have been to almost every Venue from Willis to Houston so I wouldn’t get into trouble from the wife. Charleston Lane was a no-brainer. It’s the only venue that has a waterfront view! The Charleston Lane team is detailed oriented and remembers who you are without having a laptop in front of them! Charleston Lane is also a one stop shop that has their own in-house florist, bar services and home to Caviar Banana! This whole process has been nothing but easy! Keep up the great work!
