Inspired by the season’s hues of deep red, peach and gold, Betsy and Joel’s fall country club wedding was a whimsical, autumn dream! Filled to the brim with personalized details, this sweet couple truly outdid themselves along with the expert planning of Ashley Joseph with Two Be Wed. Blush and Vine crafted the most exquisite floral arch for the couple’s ceremony backdrop and continued with their warm, free-form floral designs throughout The Woodlands County Club reception space. A cake trio took center stage with a towering bride’s cake by Kiss the Cook Cakes and flanking designs by Maple and Love. Nib and Pixel’s hand-lettering touch was seen throughout in details from the custom illustrated invitation suite, the popcorn favor tags and calligraphy signage. The newlyweds’ table was sweetly adorned with gold linens and the most adorable greenery-embellished chair treatments reading “to have” and “to hold.” Josh & Dana Fernandez Photography captured all the fun from this seasonal celebration, and we couldn’t wait to share! From the bride: “Joel and I met online and quickly discovered that we both grew up in the same town and graduated from the same high school just a couple years apart. Our first date was on a Sunday for lunch. We had such a great connection that it turned from lunch into coffee, a walk to the Menil museum and talking for hours. A year-ish later Joel proposed at the Menil, and then we went back to the sushi restaurant where we first met!
From beginning to end, it was the best day ever! I can’t quite articulate how it feels to have all of your best friends under one roof celebrating your love… Everything was perfect and I was so happy to be marrying my best friend!”
