High school sweethearts Sidney and Cody first met when she was a freshman and he was a sophomore. Sidney says she noticed him in the hallway one day and went to a friend’s house later that night to look him up in the school yearbook. The rest, as they say, was history! We love a classic love story like theirs! The high school sweethearts were on a cruise to the Cayman Islands with some friends a few years down the road where Cody popped the question to Sidney on a beautiful beach with just the two of them. Completely surprised, Sidney says that looking back it was such a romantic moment. We think there was just as much romance in their rustic August affair at The Barn at Willowynn! The modern barn venue was the perfect place for this couple to hold their charming, late-summer soiree that incorporated touches of sage green and baby pink into the mostly monochrome palette. According to all involved, the reception food was exceptional, their elegant wedding cake tasted amazing, and everywhere you looked were the most beautiful floral installations made by the bride’s aunt. Another huge hit was Willie the shot donkey, who comes along with the venue! These high school sweethearts thought of everything and then some in their rustic August affair.
