A Romantic Houston Engagement with So Much Adorable Chemistry

This couple is in no shortage of romance or adorable chemistry in their sweet Houston engagement session captured by Hayden Jordan Photography! Alissa and Justin first met at a therapeutic riding center for children with disabilities. They happened to spark up a conversation one evening when they were both volunteering, and built their relationship from there! Now, Justin serves in the Army, and Alissa’s favorite place to study in college was at the George Bush Library, so this location couldn’t have been a better fit. The pair spent the morning laughing, dreaming and talking about what life together would be like. Alissa and Justin were wed in late September in a dusty blue and ivory ceremony with greenery, pale yellow and modern gold accents but of all its stunning elements, bride Alissa says one of her favorite details is its Austin venue, Ma Maison. “One of my favorite details about the upcoming wedding is that my venue is in my hometown,” Alissa says. “I drove by the venue countless times growing up, and I never would have imagined that I would be getting married to the man of my dreams in such a beautiful place!” In addition to their venue, Alissa and Justin opted for several other seasoned Austin wedding vendors such as tasteful wedding planning and coordination by Eclipse Event Co. and yummy eats by Royal Fig CateringWe can’t wait to see just how beautiful it all turned out! Read on to hear a note from the bride about how he proposed. Cheers to Alissa and Justin!

From the bride: “My fiancé proposed on the top of a mountain in Keystone, Colorado. I actually did not know he was proposing at first, I thought he had fallen down on his skis when he got down on one knee.”
